The Power of Protest was a poster design that was created for Yellow House's exhibition Sit-In, Stand Up: A Call for Art. The art exhibition showcased poster designs to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of Ax Handle Saturday and its connections to racial justice in today's society. The poster was inspired by the racism and divided in the U.S. The style and technique that were used on the poster were grunge and 2-dimensional to make the poster looks more powerful. The font Masterplan was selected for the poster. The color schemes of the layout were grayscale and mute colors of red and blue.
